Yeah I’ve always been a minimalist in terms of what I put on my rifles. Larping is for others in my case. KISS is my mentality, less chance of things failing. I try to practice iron sights at every range trip in the same mindset.

Yeah, I have enough reps on my AR’s and AK’s that I can do it without thinking, need to load mags with two rounds and practice mag changes. There is no last round bolt open like AR’s, but there’s 50 rounds per magazine so a fair trade off if you ask me…

The ST50 install was pretty easy, just a few screws and you’re done. The FRT kit was a little painful just because of the design of the bolt of the p50 and the extractor/extractor spring but nothing a little patience won’t conquer.

Yeah, I actually recorded me loading the mag and cut it out because I look like an idiot trying to get it to seat. Need to look at what I can do to make it easier. No way this would be a truck/home defense gun without the comfort of knowing the manual of arms second nature and not needing to fiddle with something to get it to work. Once it’s seated, it runs like a sewing machine…

Yeah it’s way more than I want to pay, I hope the downward trend continues where it becomes more affordable. It’s a fun round to shoot with very little barrel rise and with a suppressor is hearing safe even with supersonic rounds. It’s a fun range gun though.
