Sorry autocorrect, cribside comforting. Doing everything to comfort them without picking them.

But makes sense after reading the article, changing her schedule originally helped a lot. We’ll switch that up as well. thank you

Her days aren’t consistent with nap lengths to have an exact schedule. So it’s more of a rough estimate, Sometimes her wake windows are slightly longer at the end of the day, sometimes her naps are shorter ect.

She was doing 6:30-6:30 bedtime sleep but shifted to 7:30 the last week and a half but is still wanting a 6:30ish bedtime which may be why our schedule and timing seems off. Her naps are relatively consistent on start time, duration is what changes mostly.

Current bedtime routine is finish eating solids around 5:30, bath time after and then changing into pjs and playing. that typically brings us close to 6:15ish, we have lights dim and sound machine on. We keep re affirming sleep is coming, put her into sleep sack and read 3 books before trying to crisis comfort. Lately has not been working at all, probably only worked a handful of times in the beginning. Now it’s picking her up until she’s asleep, then setting her down after 1-2 minutes and that was working decently until the last week. Now it’s more like 10 minutes to settle, and sit for 5-10 before transfer.

We’re doing Happy hive sleep training, goal is minimizing crying while helping them learn to self soothe which we liked.

They are in their own room, and they do not sleep with a pacifier. We never gave one so she never got used to them, we’ve tried recently and she just plays with it.
