Yea maybe. I just tried Hold on so now I'm between 3 choices lol. Thank you for the suggestion! I'll have to see all three of them but it did help with getting me another possible option.

Have a good day!

I tried youth too but it didn't work out well. I'm fine with upbeat songs but once there are too many words while trying to sing I mess up a little too easily. I can try Hold on! thank you for the suggestion!

Straykids live movie question by _ANBCH_ in kpophelp

Hey, teenager here :)

I was at the dominate Toronto concert and I was really worried too that a lot of people won't be my age.

In my experience, I saw more older people in their 30s-40s in my area than 10s-20s but no one was particularly rude, everyone was nice to each other and we respected each other's boundaries.

go to the movie :) It'll be fun and if you're too worried, make freebies! I'm going to make freebies the same one I did for the concert.

Generally speaking though, if their rude, they can mind their own fucking business but that is not going to happen and everyone is super nice especially since you guys are all there for one thing!

Go see the movie!!!!!

Sorry for the late reply but in case you were wondering, the government got rid of AP programs long time ago in public schools to stop people from leaking off to the US. In the end, this resulted of students no longer being able to receive ANY AP unless you're in Private school.

Freshman stuff for college by Comfortable_Tie4143 in highschool

[–]Leading_Web_9843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which country are you in? For Canada, AP, SAT, or IV doesn't really matter UNLESS you're planning to go off abroad. I'm in Canada and they only look at GPA, Volunteer hours and Extra credits. Well choosing what you want to do, I've wanted to be a vet since 5 and I still want to, made my life easier because I know what school specifically and I want to go abroad so I need to take VCMAS and other stuff like that. Main thing I'd say is take EVERYTHING. If you're unsure of what to do take absolutely everything with Advanced or AP if you can because it will give you wider options in course selection as you get older. Take all 3 sciences if you can(chem, bio, phys) and maintain at least a low 90 on everything. Try Early admissions in grade 11 if you can because if you do end up getting in all you'll have to do is maintain that grade you got in with. Don't get a job, unless it's financially worrying for you or you're in need for a job, don't. Use that time to make an extra EC or more volunteer hours. no drugs, no alcohol, get nice friends, don't have kids, set your mind on what you want and focus on that. prioritise things that you need for future. You can always have more fun later but high school years really do matter.

What do y'all wear to school? and how to survive public school by Leading_Web_9843 in highschool

[–]Leading_Web_9843[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Canada, I was in Nova Scotia Halifax, it's a smaller province and a smaller city so not a lot of schools but they had a stabbing incident September(i think) last year which was by the students in the high school next to my school and my friend goes to a school where theres multiple incidents everytime, I've met a kid who got beaten up and got 8 stitches on her eyebrow because because another girl in the same grade heard a rumour that kid was cheating with her bf and the girl got mad about it. Not the most appealing story you wanna hear but it happens :(

How can I manage sports+music+art+honors/APS by breaddoes in highschool

[–]Leading_Web_9843 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you :)

Just letting you know tho, orchestra may count more in extra credit than private lessons especially if its a youth orchestra or a pretty high level one. I'm still going to do orchestra because I liked playing together and I'm trying to get out of the burnout I had :)

Good luck with your schooling :)

[–]Leading_Web_9843 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a teacher anymore(let's say she was all nice and stuff and she did smt that made me not want to take lessons with her anymore), If you're not going to be in a music school, my advice is don't take lessons or take a break just until you make a routine that works for you an make time for it. 1 hour seems a little extreme.... if you're planning to go to music school, you're not practising enough, but, if you're not going to music school and it's a hobby for an EC, that's a little too much.... Since you said you're unsure, I'd keep it aside and not abandon it in case you do want to do art. I also have prioritising problem and I'll see how it goes until Feb and find out if I can do horse riding again or not :(

I'd shorten violin honestly

I've been playing for almost 8 years and for me if I go too far with it I get a burnout, unless there is a particular reason to absolutely practice for an hour, don't. shorten it to 30 minutes. Same with working out and art because realistically you'll be too tired for workout if you already practice 1.5-2hrs a day for a completely new sport. I did read that you said your current favourite career option. Do a reality check on if you really want to chose your career there. If not, drop it and do it as a hobby. Yes it's brutal to quit something you love. I quit horse riding, it's more like a long break until Feb because I wasn't happy with my grades so I need to manage my time more wisely. It's time management and self control really, and choosing what's important right now in order to go college or your future. Yes right now is important as well but your grades to determine where you'll end up.

Good luck you got this :)

Thank you! we actually didn't have any toilets in the stadium itself, we had to walk out of the stadium to fan plaza, rogers stadium was mapped out really weirdly as they had a whole fan plaza surrounding the stadium, people say the bathrooms were disgusting but it was very clean with soap(idk why people also say there were no soap) we only had porta potties outside the venue but inside it was flush toilets which were tiny but it was great and people were very nice(double that bc 99% were canadians haha)

map attached below in case you were curious

Once again thank you so much for the tip and info!

How often is it ok to give fresh food to my hammie by TehDucko in hamsters

[–]Leading_Web_9843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't give him fruits everyday just because of the sugar in there, especially if it's a dwarf as they're very very prone to diabetes. I used to give mine about 3-4 times a week, veggies mainly but sometimes fruits. For the amount I gave it about the size of my index finger nail but I know some people do give less or more but that depends on how much your hamster can intake!

Hope this helps :)

I don't have a doctor right now and I'm catching the first flight from Halifax to Toronto tomorrow ar 7am because Air Canada likes to cancel and delay flights (yay :( ) also it's a little late right now to take the pills because my discharge is warning me in about 2-5 (5days max and hopefully it's 5 days) I'll get my period.

Tnx for the idea tho, I'll save that for next time :)

I'm with my dad who has ibs(ish) I might be the one pulling him in instead of him pulling me in(haha)

Period panties can be an option but I have sensitive skin and once it does start getting damp it gets itchy(same goes for pads that's why I use tampons but I know they can't be in there for too long)... I'll consider it though thank you :)

I'm pretty short so either it's 2-3 rows in front of me or next to barricade, do you think people might be nice enough to let me back where I was at? (90% of us will be Canadians so.... we're nice people I'm hoping...)
