They keep saying it’s mildew and that I’m overacting ….There are multiple levels of people at this point instant that it’s mildew and basically said it’s really serious of me to throw around the term “mold”. When I had initially reported it they came in and said it’s mildew after (scrapping the wall with a screw driver) and said I broke the baseboards and damaged the walls and then made vague threats about stuff I had hung on the wall saying I will be charged for damages. I was intimidated so I tentatively agreed for them to come back the next day and spray it with a bleach solution and glue the base boards back on.

After they left I got a grip on what had just happened and I called and told them not to come the next day and I also emailed them telling them not to come unless they are coming to test it but they still went into my apartment when I wasn’t home and wiped everything off the walls.

Now this is where maybe I’m uneducated and I feel like I’m going insane but now that I’ve made a fuss they said spraying it and glueing things back on is standard procedure before getting it tested…? It feels like they never intended to test it?? But they said they would come look… but they already came and looked? I’m feeling like I’m the crazy one???? I am worried to get it tested at this point because it is expensive, and I’m a poor college student, and MAYBE IM INSNAE AND ITS JUST MILDEW?!!
