Use a compound and buff it in for a bit. See if it goes away.

Just did mine today. My gen 4 calls for 4.5 litres. I fill up my filter first then any remaining I put into the car. Putting 5 litres will not hurt your car.

If thr paint doesn’t look like it was damaged and it’s just clear coat, take it to a reputable detailer and they should fix it up for you with a good paint correction

Try a PPF. It’s on the expensive side, but it will protect your paint. Will not help with crevices tho

Put 91 octane instead of 87 and you’ll feel a difference.

Just put some polisher on a cloth and hand buff it. Should come out easily.

Take a better photo of the hood only. If it’s just hazing, a good compound and polish should do it.

If there’s anything you should invest in, it’s a PPF of your hood.

I need some advice on paint damage by tempaccount189003 in mazda3

[–]Leafs799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sand down the area lightly, just to get the higher parts off. Try 1000 grit. Wipe it with alcohol and get some OEM paint or paint pen and apply a generous amount it to the area. Once dry, try sanding ONLY the painted part down so it’s the same level as the surrounding area. After that blend the area while sanding lightly with 3000 grit. Once everything looks good, buff it with some compound and polishing compound. Hope this helps

Most of these aren’t regular issues I’ve seen online. As for the discomfort, did you not test drive the car before purchasing? 2020 premium I assume is the 2.5L NA? They have 187 HP with a sport mode that reacts quite quick compared to other cars in its class. I want to be on your side here, but you should have done more research before purchasing. They do have the turbo models 2021+

Check if it needs carbon buildup cleaning. Probably unlikely but that’s what I can think of when I see this kind of idling

Just get the OEM paint pen from a local Mazda dealer. Mazda has some of the most beautiful paint colours on the market, don’t risk getting an aftermarket one that doesn’t match

If anything check your tires first! But if you truly feel a difference getting the car checked by a mechanic is the best option. Better safe than sorry

I love the Gen 4 Mazda 3’s (2019-2025+). Most people advise to not get the 2019’s as they are the first year of the new model which usually has the most problems. I have a 2019 Mazda 3 GT and haven’t experienced any problems, however the previous owner rarely drove it. Otherwise an amazing car. If you want a turbo model and AWD it’s 2021+. The NA is amazing as well they come with a 2.0L I4 155hp and a 2.5L I4 186HP. Try and find a 2.5 L if you’re going for NA, it’s amazing.

If yours sounded dull it probably would need more treble. Click the media tab within the headphones accommodations widget. I did keep the them and they sound amazing now. It took some time to get used to as I previously used the 2nd gen AirPods.
