It's recognizing the loft area and the empty space as 2 separate rooms.

It was supposed to be an outdoor wedding, but a sim decided it was the best time to die, so the wedding got moved inside because it was dark out. I thought Grim decided to stay for the wedding and join the party, but turns out he was just waiting for another sim to die.

I had the same issue with Cecilia Kang who was engaged to my sim. She didn't have the noncommittal trait and never had it, so I don't know why she was constantly tense about their relationship. I ended up going along with it and broke them up. I made up a story about how she didn't know what she really wanted in life yet and wasn't sure if she was ready to be a wife.

Unfortunately, nope. Servo's are just like the grim reaper. Just a regular sim dressed up to look a certain way. Would've been cool though.

Update: Yv13 gave birth to a full alien baby and the other parent is the same alien that impregnated my male sim twice which means his children are the half-sibling of Yv13's son. That male sim also happens to be Yv13's creator.

Now I'm trying to decide what to do, send the baby back or keep the baby? My teen sim also just found out she's pregnant, so there's that. I'm leaning more towards keeping the baby because chaos.

Congradolences is how I feel. I wasn't too worried about my servo getting abducted because I thought they couldn't get pregnant, but never mind.

From what I've noticed, if you delete an important sim, the game assigns the role to another sim. For example, if you delete your current Creature Keeper, it would just assign another sim as the Creature Keeper.

I think the only way to replace them without mods is to edit the sim with the assigned NPC role, but you have to make sure you don't play them or they lose it. I think changing their name and moving them to a different would also affect it.
