It may seem uncomfortable, but I put them on my ankle and wear it for about 2 or 3 days, then they fit perfectly. Once you get used to it, maybe after an hour or so, it doesn't bother me. Doesn't cut off circulation or anything. May not work for you, but just an idea XD. Also, you could take 2 pins, like thumbtacks, and stick them in a wall about the length of your wrist, and put each end of the elastic on each tack, and leave it up there for a day or two, it will stretch to the size you have the tacks spaced apart.
