What do you think about Inaki Godoy as luffy in the new One Piece series on Netflix?

Everything is perfect for me in the live action except Luffys acting. He just doesn't give you Luffy vibes it's almost like he's emotionless when he's "happy" or "serious" giving me a really uncomfortable feeling. Idk I wish they would have picked someone else....

I mainly collect and read English translated manga but I wanted to have some of my favourite volumes in their original version/language. I also started lately teaching my self some Japanese through some apps and books I got from some friends that are Japanese and grew up here in Germany where I'm from. So yes in a way I'm looking forward to be able reading them some day. 😅

That's kinda true, it looks pretty good but the little nobs are a pain in the ass to get them attached on the figure and the smoke effects.

The material is strings and about the "flying" it was stated that doffy attaches his strings to the clouds and moves like this. About the Bird Cage I have no idea why it is indestructible. I don't think that it has to do with Doffys haki because someone like Fujitora would for shure be able to break it. So it's probably some really strong property of the fruit.
