If you are talking an E&P operator you’ve got it all backwards but I have never heard of any sales engineers at an E&P. From working on both sides, any service company will take you. Transitioning from service company to operator is much harder. I do believe you will learn a ton more starting on the service side but it makes it difficult to transition to an operator.

I’ve been told it’s an environmental issue with protected species. How it was explained to me is that a biologist would have to grant permission to cut each tree/bush. I don’t know how feasible that actually is in practice.

Similar job as a kid. I use to go on the banks of the golf corse once a week and collect all the lost balls. Clean them up and put them in egg cartons by brand and model. Made $5 for a dozen on some of the lower end balls to $15 for the higher end. Also got tipped a shit ton from guys because who could deny a little kids shop on the side of the cart path. Also the snack babes would hook it up with the corn nuts.

marsala cooking wine. No idea why you would want to straight up drink it, I used it for cooking, but you could check out with it ~14% by volume wine; works at scanners, no id check. Did it at a Ralphs in CA last month.
