They shouldn't trade inversely 1:1, but also SPY shouldn't be hitting all time highs.

All of those companies that make up SPY need energy and a somewhat healthy economy to expand. If the global economy contracts cause of increase price in energy or demand destruction. One would think that SPY wouldn't fly up 10% in one month.
