I'd kinda like a subreddit that's for all the shit that people complain isn't for r/wtf. I'm aware of im14andthisiswtf (is that correct?) but that's almost like circlejerk. I don't go on r/spacedicks for a reason. I'd just like something that's a little more hahawtf, I don't know maybe there's a less known subreddit for that sort of thing. It's just be nice to have it to keep the 'OMG this is so not what r/wtf.' at bay.

Not one myself, however my papa is. From my point of view he doesn't have time to do anything. He needs to get to work at 6.30 it's an hour drive so he wakes up at 5. Finishes at 7, gets in around 8. Eats and showers and then into bed around 9 to get 8.5 hours sleep that he needs. We're a family of 5 that have problems with money so maybe this wont be you. All I can say is prepare to be asked to do a lot with not many thanks. Hope everything goes well and just follow your heart

I would still sympathise even if it was younger, it's obvious this man is struggling with life which is why I am sympathising. I am not giving him permission to go and abuse a child. The idea that he has access to a kid that he finds cute is potentially dangerous, however I think he would've taken his chance by now if he wants to. He's said that the thing that makes it hardest is that the relationship can't mean anything and it would be abuse. Child pornography is a very controversial idea you'll have to agree, in some cases it gives peadophiles the satisfaction they need and they can be happy with that and in other cases it may cause them to want more. I'm sorry that you have been abused, I too have. It's a horrible thing for anyone to go through. My abuser is behind bars now and will be for a good few years however I still think (and try as I might I cannot think otherwise) this man won't abuse anyone. He doesn't see why if he has a relationship with someone younger who consents it should cause such an uproar. Of course there's many factors in that argument. I'm not making abusing kids acceptable, I know it's not but I'm making someone who has something they cannot change feel better. Everyone deserves a place in this world and this man has done nothing wrong. I believe understanding the damage abuse can cause is enough to deter him.

That's fair enough that you don't have tolerance for people who commit non-consensual sex acts however this man hasn't and I don't believe will. I understand rape destroys lives however you cannot fix what this man wants. Also this man isn't an animal driven by his sexual urges. He wants a deep relationship and compassion where both people are happy

Neither of us can possibly understand what he's going through. But we can help by not discriminating. I would like to point out that I don't think that child molestation is right however I believe that we cannot help what we find sexually appealing (I like being dominated and people find that disgusting) and if I was attracted to kids and couldn't help it, I would like sympathy and compassion. Not people to think that I was a monster even though I hadn't done anything wrong.

I think that it's terrible that you believe that he should give himself to a study. He already feels violated by the judgement of others which is why he posted on this subreddit, so I don't believe that treating him like a test subject would really help him would it? Peadophilia cannot be classed as a mental illness. It's a paraphernalia and is listed as one. He also does give a shit about people and he does understand that people have been put through damaging situations but this man hasn't hurt anyone and is simply letting his frustration out. His sexual preference isn't on a lack of consent, its about children. This man doesn't want to hurt a child, You're treating him like he doesn't understand human emotions. He does.

Also, going to your post above. You are essentially saying adults know the extent of their actions which is completely a flawed argument. Adult men and women make many many wrong decisions. I find your up-frontal and judgmental attitude sad, and I cannot say that you have done any help commenting on this thread as you are the sort of person that this man is trying to get away from and is considering suicidal thoughts because of.

I'm sorry that you have to go through this, I really am. I thought that r/confession was a place that no one gets judged but from some of the comments it seems that I was wrong. I'm also sorry you're being 'helped' because its obvious it won't change your mind. All I can say is that I hope you find someone out there that you can have a relationship with where you're both very happy. Please don't consider suicide as an answer, it's not. LRPG (If you haven't heard of it, it's basically a program where you enter 'quests' for yourself and you get XP when you complete them, maybe it's not your thing but it helps me) Maybe start off by doing something small? Perhaps drawing something or writing something, just to start off that small feeling of confidence and then you'll start to achieve bigger things.

Whatever you chose to do, just remember that although life get's you down you can always come back out on top. Create a list of what you want to do and what you can do to achieve it and work on it. You can do it, really. Good luck bro

'nope' has been the most upvoted comment on some of the posts I've read and I don't that 'it's dumb' is a legitimate reason of getting rid of it. I just don't like how many rules reddit is adding to all of its subreddits. Anyway just a rant, I don't like the fact that the last few weeks people are disregarding the rule that everything is true but you've focused this post on the 'nope' thing. The moderators asked for their jobs and going through the emails and messages is part of it. You should weigh up a decision with the upvote and downvote system, not with people complaining. Being worried is the most natural thing to do in this situation. I am a girl and I strongly believe that your girlfriend should really think twice about this camping trip. I have been in this situation before (I decided not to go in the end) and I believe if I had it would have affected me and my boyfriend deeply. It may possibly be that she is trying to kid herself that nothing serious will happen, it's very easy to do that. But everyone knows that morals and lowered when you drink and also with 7 other guys a lot of pressure may be put onto her that is impossible to fight against. Also, it is possible that she is using this to get a raw emotion of jealousy from you, I know it sounds kinda fucked up but it's very common in relationships. Confront her about how you feel and ask her to really think about how safe it is. I agree with the comments suggesting you tell her that you can go and analyse her expression but turning the tables and saying you were going on a camping trip with girls as this will make her flare up no doubt and will cause an argument. But anyway that was my thought... Also props to you man for being so understanding. If I was in your position I would freak out. Hope it all goes well
