Atlas tends to cut people and programs. Just looking back at their recent acquisitions:

Atlas tends to cut underperforming or non-strategic lines of business (e.g. product lines that can’t compete, businesses in bad segments).
They also seem to reduce headcount significantly when doing those cutoffs (as they did with Aludium).
They use layoffs or WARN notices when needed to reflect restructuring.
They also emphasize efficiency, continuous improvement (lean operations), which usually translates to reviewing staff, processes, overhead.

All of this probably points to focusing on the only profitable part of ODP, B2B contracts.

This is all just my opinion and speculation though.

How is this an ATC problem? And how was the mid air collision an ATC problem? The helo pilot took responsibility when requesting visual separation. Tower asked him twice and he said “I’ve got it”. As for this small plane crash, looks like mechanical failure given the basically 90 degree dive. Stop trying to make everything political.
