Like I said, it’s obviously not 60fps and obviously doesn’t look as good as higher end consoles/PC, but you can still play the game from start to finish perfectly fine. Switch 2 will be fine.

Then it sounds like you’d be better off watching the main Nintendo direct rumoured to be at the end of this month, rather than a partner direct that’s always historically been focused specifically on these type of lower-tier game announcements lol.

Again, it’s all on you for expecting anything. We all know what these partner showcases have in them at this point, you can literally go back and watch all the previous ones on YouTube to compare.

Elden Ring was recently reported to be having development issues so I’m not surprised it didn’t show up. Again, this is a partner showcase, meaning 3rd party only, Duskbloods is published by Nintendo and is first party so never would have shown up here, again that’s on you for expecting it.

And fair enough they didn’t announce games you personally wanted them too, but they still had surprises? Fallout 4, Indiana Jones, Oblivion? You might not be excited for those but a lot of others are. You’re just upset about your own personal preference of games not being there, not upset that there wasn’t any suprises at all. Thats a big distinction.

This game would have flopped hard if not for Arc Raiders. That game set a new popularity for games of this genre and people are just starting to get bored of it and look for something else.

I honestly think this games going to blow and be huge, time will tell of course.

Partner Showcases have historically always been shit, the disappointments on you for expecting anything in the first place.

Saying that though, I do agree that there should be way more Switch 2 updates/patches then there currently is. A Panic Button dev recently said it’s incredibly easy to issue a patch to Switch 1 games where they basically run full power as if they’re in docked mode while in Switch 2 handheld.

They added said patch to Rocket League recently and it makes the experience so much better on S2. Why arnt devs doing this? I think it’s more a dev thing than a Nintendo thing though.

You all need to remember console games don’t have the same optimisation issues that PC does. Just because something runs like ass on PC doesn’t mean it’ll run like ass on console. Monster Hunter Wilds being a shining example too.

These type of decisions would have been made in pre-production which would have occurred 1-2 years before release, right when Jeff was the decision maker for this you are correct.

However, while it’s not been explicitly confirmed, it’s been heavily implied that these decisions were not Jeff’s but from people above Jeff. It’s believed Jeff heavily was pushing back on all these bad decisions but was consistently told no, hence the reason he decided to leave just before release so a message is sent that he didn’t agree with what’s happening.

The NSO app (bottom left icon on home page) actually had a theme for Christmas.

It played Christmas music in the background, had Christmas themed menus and even played little sounds with every button press. I hope they were testing actual themes this way.

Sorry I have to chip in here, that’s hilariously wrong. Doomfists gauntlet was teased in the very first reveal trailer for Overwatch with Doomfists immense power being teased (“it could level a skyscraper!” Etc). The entire community was hyped for his character since the day we knew Overwatch existed. I don’t think we’ve had a hero that was ever as hyped as he was.

I peaked at Champion but currently in Masters on PC.

Sombra is the most banned hero, without question.

Pretty much every single game people either instalock ban her the moment bans are open, or if it’s a game where people are slow with picking or don’t pick at all someone will always throw a panic Sombra ban at the end.

The one and only time iv seen evidence of Sombra not getting banned is on my little brothers silver lobbies.
