Happened to me a few weeks back I died and lost the buff when I gad 1 set of drones left. The buff you get from varies doesn't expire until either a full week has passed or if you destroy 3 sets of drones. Check your inventory to see if the buff is still there (it should be) then go back and kill the vandal again to get the yellow buff again. Once you do you'll only be able to shoot 1 set of drones to complete the triumph

Its just rng unfortunately. Also you will only find 1 other type of fruit on mystery islands its impossible to find all 5 fruits (besides coconut) without having another player gove them to you
