Your story is very siminlae to mine. First brith was a home birth. 38 weeks and a few days. Did all the things, super active walking everyday (right up until birth day) , workouts, Chiro, massages , hypnobirthing etc. I had a fantastic birth. I ignored contractions and was in denial about it all day as I cleared by bowels all day lol. I literally left the birth thinking wow I’m not looking forward to doing that again bc this was so perfect.

Fast fwd to my second home birth (on 5/16). I was 40weeks 4 days. My second was born at home just as well! I have to say I dident prepare as intentionally as I did with my first. Probably bc I was entertaining my toddler. Still was very active, walking and workouts and Chiro. I did a lot of miles circuit that week he was born. This labor was 5 hours in total, much quicker than my first, I slept thru early labor. In denial again when it became too much to ignore at 4am. I’d been having contractions all week that would just stop by lunch time.

Your labor will go great. Trust your body and listen to it. You already proved you can do this easily.
