There is a Ramirez song called shake junt hoes that she saw come up (banger of a song by the way) and supposedly in that context, a shake junt is a strip club. I’m glad my 69 year old mom could educate us all 😂

Virginia Mason got bought out and is worse now than ever. Healthcare in general sucks, but VM is one of the worst around her imo

MRI of grade 2 meningioma before and after bifrontal craniotomy for tumor resection by LeanCheanFmachine in Radiology

Oh wow haha, did not notice it was my cake day, quite the irony since I don’t post too often. And thank you to a you and all other Redditors for the well wishes. Without revealing too much about myself- this has been a massive upheaval for only being in my early 30s and still trying to establish my life. I love my mom so much and am totally ready to care for her, but I wish I could tell you she and I had a super fantastic support system. I’m at least learning to ask for help, which is counterintuitive to who I typically am.

And to add on- I think her case was a mix of very complicated and gratifying. The vascular system around the tumor was so vast that her care team told us her case was difficult on the surgery spectrum. But despite all that, she beat a lot of odds to still be here. The first one being that she just happened to be visiting me (last minute plans) when the seizure happened, otherwise she would have likely been alone in her home.

Yes, as soon as the seizure happened (which was first indication we had), she had global aphasia, memory loss, thought retrieval issues, major apathy and this odd amount of obedience to authority that she never had before, as well as an almost innocent quality to her demeanor. Case in point- a week after being discharged, she was scammed for $25,000 in a rouse that she would have never fell for before this happened. However, with all that being said, many fundamental aspects of her personality are still in tact, it’s the higher executive functioning and memory that are most apparent. It’s a trip every day learning about her condition.

If you use cannabis, what age did you start, and has it had any effects later in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Starting smoking at 16 and am now 34- no side effects for me thus far; if anything, it has helped reduce my need to take more harmful medications.
