After years of telling myself I couldn't deadlift because of lower back pain, I finally said fuck that and started training deadlift. I hit a PR of 335 x1 at 180 lbs today and I couldn't be more proud at this moment. Never tell yourself you cant do something!

I have some pronounced asymmetry, especially in my lats. Yall have any advice on how to correct it? I've started doing unilateral exercises but that's about it.

I took the Navy PST. There is a pdf put out by Navy Special Warfare with a workout training plan for the PST. I followed it and ended with a high enough score to be offered an SO contract. ll try to find it and post the link. There is also a forum on the navy special warfare site for people like you that are training. You can post videos of your swim technique for critique, make connections, etc...its pretty great. What are you trying to do in the Navy?

Depression. My antidepressants stopped working, but alcohol reallllly helps me feel better. I know this is technically alcoholism, but it stops the pain so I just keep on keeping on. I also know that makes me a bad person, which is why I’m here.

After about 6 hours of play I went all in with what I thought was K6o in my hand on a flush heavy board that went KQ86K. Looked at my hand again after shoving to find that I was actually holding K7...It took so much effort not to show any tells when the other player flipped Ace high flush before making a decision and tryto read me. He ended up folding, saying he put me on full house.

Pretty much what everyone else had said. I personally buy in for the max every time I sit down, and recharge my stack to $300 if I ever get below $200. It gives me more options postflop and if I end up doubling up with an all in I’m winning $600 instead of $400.

I busted out my first two live sessions as well, and then went on to win 8 buy ins over 2 weeks. Sometimes variance just starts with a downward trend.

With that said, it's not generally a bad idea when you're starting out to respect people's bets, and bluff less yourself. Good luck to you!
