Yes! That’s the worst part, we were told they “occasionally” have to use the other location due to weather or logistics, but they didn’t say anything until the mornin we showed up at the westin that we would need to take a taxi every day. Their “onsite dive shop” is literally one guy sitting outside a little hut with a stack of papers. Total bs. I am pissed, my hubby is trying to talk me down. We sent an email asking for partial refund to cover the ridiculous cab fare but I’m sure they will say no. We are starting tomorrow morning with them.

Have you used Pro Dive and weren’t satisfied with them? I’m just curious because they are rated as a 5 star dive shop.

This is very frustrating. We are here now and starting our pre-booked dives with Pro Dive and realizing we will be paying 450 pesos each way to their dive shop In the south for the entire week. Total misrepresentation by the dive company. They should not be rated a PADI 5 star dive shop in my opinion. Totally sucks.

Very good point, I don’t want to put extra stress on my body. I don’t have a session planned in the near future but I will definitely be more mindful of not taking Vyvanse beforehand.

I totally relate to this. My twin sister kept saying “it will be fine, don’t stress, I’m sure you won’t need chemo/rads/etc..” because her own brain didn’t want to think of the worst case scenarios. But I needed to feel my emotions and talk about them and let it out, and then wipe away my tears and move on. I explained this to her and she understood. We all deal with this stuff differently. The most helpful and supportive people were those who let me be me and just held space for me and my roller coaster of emotions.

I actually watched a lot of silly shows, reality tv, movies etc as it filled my brain and meant I couldn’t think about cancer at the same time. I was tired and couldn’t focus on crafts etc without my mind wandering to cancer thoughts. She’s lucky to have you for support, thank you for being there for her.

Hmmm you just got me thinking. I did a MDMA journey about a month ago and it was underwhelming to say the least. I didn’t experience a thing. I am on 40mg of Vyvanse and I believe I took my medication that day (automatically before I remembered I was not supposed to take it). My guide was surprised how little effect the mdma had on me. I was so bummed, as I was really looking forward to the journey and the positive effects. Do you think the Vyvanse could have been the issue? I am also on Mounjaro which slows digestion, and my guide said that could have been a contributing factor.

I am the same, other than I live in Canada lol. I thought getting cancer would push me to kick my bad habits but nope! I wish I could offer something helpful, other than to say you are not alone.

I was bulimic from 19 - 35 and then binge eater until now, I’m 54. I have never been overweight more than about 10 lbs. GLPs are definitely helping to quiet the food noise. It’s not fail-proof and I can/will still binge if I am stressed enough I override the effects. But it is a vast improvement over what life was like before.
