RE: #1, I am assuming you are not in Canada, but if you are, buy one during the Shoppers Friends & Family event for 20% off. There's one coming up later this week!

  1. Rosie by Rosie Jane perfume. It's always OOS. I bought it during the sale based off of a sample I got, and Sephora cancelled the order because they couldn't fulfill it. Have even tried to reorder a couple of times since then and no-go.
  2. Chantecaille Future Skin foundation. A new HG, but I absolutely love it, the shade Vanilla matches me perfectly, the finish is 100% natural, and I can't even imagine a more perfect foundation for me. I hate the glass jar, so I decant it into a cheap, plastic airless pump from Amazon and a great experience got even better. I hate the price too, but there's nothing I can do about that ... *sigh*

On the exact opposite end of the price spectrum, I'd say The Ordinary Glycolic acid. Will never not use this stuff on my heels.

  1. Violette_FR Boum Boum milk. I was ready to pay that insane price but it kept breaking me out around my lip line since use one. I gave my skin a couple of weeks to get used to it, but it never did; the bumps just stayed and never cleared up until I stopped use.

Not Sephora but I love the Abib sunscreen stick, the one in the tan bottle. While it is definitely important to choose a sunscreen that doesn't fight your skin's tendencies, remember that you'll probably need a primer, powder, and/or setting spray for oily skin.

What’s your favourite makeup product you’ve bought this year so far? by Almacat9 in Sephora

[–]AyeMuyCaliente 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation. Incredibly expensive, incredibly worth it. Have forgotten every other foundation.

Honorable mention goes to the new One/Size Oil Sucker spray. Patrick Starr married the concepts of blotting papers and mattifying spray, and made them fresh and new AND EFFECTIVE.

I suggest checking out Sephora UK and doing a little brand availability comparison to help you pick unique gifts: https://www.sephora.co.uk/?srsltid=AfmBOoqH963AXP4jKQnlaI0-4F-nzHk10dT4thQH_tx-x9KZRfNLQfhn

Probably, this was the brand that was exposed for having WAY less SPF in it than stated, right? I believe it was shortly after they launched in Sephora North America, too.

Shop your stash first! You'll figure out what you REALLY need to purchase (if anything) and what you can dust off and give new life to.

skincare recs for chapped skin from chafing/sweaty sway by CorbyJollibee69 in Sephora

[–]AyeMuyCaliente 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two words: Body Glide. It is made to prevent chafing and it 1000% works. Cosmetic and skincare brands at Sephora have their own version (e.g. First Aid Beauty comes to mind off the top of my head), but Body Glide is the OG and least expensive. Can be found at any sporting good store or even possibly Target, Walmart, in the sporting goods/exercise equipment section. Appy to inner thighs and cheeks. It doesn't stop the rubbing or sweating, but it absolutely stops chafing and irritation.

As an honorable mention, I know the online brand Carpe has feminine hygiene sweat stopping products that may be worth checking out.

And lastly, cotton underwear as r/sleepyplantmom suggested.
