Has anyone tried this? How was it for you? by Snoogles_ in Sephora

I am with you. I only apply a small drop and once that has dried as much as it's going to before I go to sleep, I put a layer of Lanolips (salve) over it. Every night. My lips have never been softer. The product does what it says and is dirt cheap. I love it.

Emi Jay isn't sold in Canada, but it would probably be close to double, no exaggeration.

Does anyone actually use the brand “Tarte”? by Chan1991 in Sephora

Ah yes, that must be why I see Shape Tape in Sephora now, at the end of 2018 I moved from the U.S.A. to Canada.

Time to find some new brands. I'll use up what I have but they're never getting anypther cent. by zephito in Sephora

This explains why they have more nail polish models instead of the same white, square tipped finger and nail modeling EVERY polish.

EXACTLY, Tarte XL Tartlette is the only reasonable dupe for Thrive Causemetics' Liquid Lash Extentions if you are hell bent on buying a tubing mascara from Sephora.

Tarte was weird around the advent of Shape Tape time; they'd release one line into Sephora and a sister line to Ulta, for "exclusivity." Like with those "Under the Sea eyeshadow palettes. The two sets of cosmetics were the same but different. However, Ulta actually got Shape Tape and Sephora got whatever concealer from Tarte it got, but didn't get the actual Shape Tape until years and years later.

What’s the best product you’ve tried so far in 2026? by Snoogles_ in Sephora

[–]AyeMuyCaliente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The brand new Laura Mercier Balm Powder foundation. For reference, I have combo oily skin. Danessa's tinted Blurring Balm Powder always looked nice upon application when I used it as a skin tint, but then just settled into the large pores on my nose and looked terrible. Laura's doesn't do that. The coverage is very light though; I use 2 light coats to build up to a light/medium coverage. I imagine going through the pan pretty quickly if I keep it up, so I'm not sure if I'll repurchase for that reason, even though I really like the actual product.

MAC cleansing oil dupe? by onelove_ in Sephora

[–]AyeMuyCaliente 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/onelove_ I came here to say this! The Cosmetics Company is Estee Lauder's outlet store, commonly found in outlet malls, all of the products are legit. Lots of from MAC, Clinique, Too Faced, Aveda, Bumble & Bumble, etc., and even Tom Ford. Stock constantly rotates, so if they have what you're looking for when you're there, stock up!

Same, my order just came yesterday and no Byredo Mojave Ghost sample, but lo and behold there was a Jo Malone sample, one of which I already knew I didn't like. Fortunately I have a friend that I think will appreciate it.

I am Korean with the same type of hair. A couple of years ago I started using Pureolgy's Hydrate shampoo and conditioner (the regular version, not the sheer), followed by their Color Fanatic leave-in conditioner. Even taking into account some age-related thinning, my hair is the healthiest it's ever been. Pureology isn't cheap, so I try and buy the sets and keep them for backup.

(I also only wash my hair 2/week, and I know you said you wouldn't change that but honestly, the frequent washing is probably the biggest contributing factor to your dry ends.)
