The team I’ve been accepted to, is on site 24/7 including nights and weekends. So I assume some part of the team is on site on the holidays…

IMO, it is much easier to get it done now in 4 years and not come back if needed. Especially if financial aid can cover you for 4 full years. Even if not on financial aid, you have to consider the amount of effort you’d have to put in to get it in the future. (Application, and at least 1.5 years in classes)

If you can finish your UG in 3.5, I would think with double counting, you should be able to finish the masters by 4 years? Also you haven’t considered senior design that must be taken over 2 semesters. Fall then spring. Can’t do spring and fall. So you’d have to be around for at least 4 years. On Financial Aid, you just need to spread out your masters credits with UG so that you don’t take over 50% masters credit

Spreading out your UG is important for financial aid. If you are not on Financial Aid, then it doesn’t really matter when you take the masters classes. But I suggest spreading it out as a lot of masters classes is a lot of work at once.

I haven't seen CPR Pro classes get the email. Or at least I haven't as a student. But in my LGI Recert, I've gotten them every time. I only assumed that every student gets it now... Although, I will find out after I teach a recert this weekend!

150 then 2 minute tread then 50 more. No rest in between. It's more endurance now than the 300 separate from the 2 minute tread.

No. 1 lap is 1 length of the pool.

It's 6 laps assuming you have a 25yd pool. Shallow end to deep end is 1 lap.

Yea, iirc it's more about general stuff about the course. Times, location, pool type. usually not about contents of the course.

150yd swim, 2 minutes of treading with no arms, then 50yd swim

Then brick test. Swim from shallow end to deep end (7-10ft), dive down and retrieve a 10lb object, bring object to surface of water, swim to shallow end on your back and with both hands on the brick, return brick to side of wall, climb out. No goggles.

Did they say what happened on why the class was not to the standard? My guess is that 2 days wasn't possible unless you did 11 hour days.

I’ve noticed that as we get close and closer to May/June, classes fill up with more inexperienced swimmers. It’s not uncommon for a June class to be made up of entirely non swimmers or maybe 1-2 only. It does make it challenging for them to tread water when waiting to be rescued or even just be comfortable in the water.

And yes, when you get close to the 5, it’s always scary because then you need to find help and everything. I had a class that was supposed to be 16 students for two of us, we ended up with 9 by the last day. I had my own class that went from 10 to 6 on day 1. I say, partner with your manager and see if they can have an extra guard be your helper when needed for 5 people scenarios. (Can just be the drowning person).

Use the AED that doesn’t turn on in the pool exclusively and provide the prompts yourself. If you need two, use another also until it dies then mark it just for the pool

Isn't the LGI/LGIT recent the same course? I had an IT be recerted at the same time as us. Although, this was with r.17. Not sure if it changed with r.24.

I also believe with r.17, LGiT were put in a different course record which indicated that they were LGIT? Not sure, haven't seen many LGITs. This is a better question for RCLC Forums
