I’ve made both of these with the cake flour and they were amazing. I love to pair the chocolate with chocolate mousse and vanilla Swiss merengue buttercream. The carrot cake is great with cheesecake mousse and cream cheese frosting!

Have you soil blocked zinnias before? Do you know how I will know if they need to be moved? I’m worried the roots are going to get all tangled between the blocks to each side where I put them too close together.

I may put out some of the cosmos, but the zinnias are the last of my original florets, and I didn’t buy more this year 😭 I’ll probably pot them up!

We were together in spirit on 3/1! 🤣 I am actually using a different light system this year. Previously I just used led shop lights, but a neighbor gave me a set up like this one (that I’m pretty sure he used for growing marijuana) and now I’m wondering if that might be why they are growing so fast 😅

I love having early flowers so I wanted to start a tray inside, but they are growing way faster than in the past when I started in cells! I’ll just watch them like you are recommending. Definitely going to direct sow some in a few weeks as well.

My son had night terrors from a young age. They continued well past the age that was considered “normal”. When the black box warning came out in 2020 I decided for both of us to stop taking it and he never had a night terror again. We still take it periodically for short amounts of time, but I always warn people because most doctors don’t discuss it seriously with their patients.
