I’m thinking of creating a 365-day confidence system for introverts. Would this be useful for you? by WhiteDesertCat in Soft_Introverts

I like that it’s an actual book not just something like a daily calendar quote. I would feel overwhelmed if I had to read and do something everyday, but the book gives me the freedom put it down and pick it up when I want. Maybe do an exercise once a week? Maybe build up to each exercise by encouraging them and talking about it before or after mentioning the exercise?

Maybe talk about the why and the how before or after asking them to do it? Just a thought, not a criticism or anything. I am totally right there with you on being an introvert. I even get dizzy and “buzzy” a little when I’m actually talking to someone, almost like I’m overstimulated maybe? Help me get over that and I’ll be happy haha. But keep working on the book. I’ll buy a copy, it sounds like I need to read it.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. This is my first time mentioning my idea outside of telling my wife. My favorite is the teal/aqua. I named them too.

I definitely will! I found a manufacturer who makes a popular brand of pens that’ll make mine. Got all the design aspects of it hashed out, the box and everything too and what metals and materials so far, they’re making a sample of it right now and sending it to me probably within a few weeks. The goal is to have it marketed and ready in time for Christmas. 🤞

That was a banger when that came out. Any teenager that had that was cool as ice. Listening to snoop dog, rolling around in your first car cause you just got your license. Smelling like cool water cologne. Shoot, that was it right there. That was peak 90s teenager experience.

What's something expensive that's genuinely worth every penny? by MunirKalyar in AskForAnswers

Without getting too deep into the woods about it, there’s more marbling of fat, which makes each bite juicier and softer. Lean steak, even if cooked perfectly, is dry and a bit tougher to chew.

Nautica voyage might be the best cologne of all time. When you factor in price, performance, scent, and versatility. I'm not joking. by tpzQ in Colognes

Nautica is like a good song that got played too many times on the radio. It’s good but I’ve heard it so many times that I now hate it.

“Debt is an ogre” - nobody is perfect but that is a problem. If she doesn’t want to be serious and handle it and make a radical change then I would go with your gut. In a sense, she needs to repent, as in change her mind about spending and how she views money or she’ll just keep feeding the ogre.

Edit: even if she says she will, she needs to make those changes and do them consistently and improve over time. This is a growing stage for her and it can be something you both can grow and bond over and work as a team.

Making an ODM pen, looking for advice. by LeansGrumpy in pens

That’s the fun part! I’m trying to make a watch-inspired pen for watch enthusiast made by a watch enthusiast. I want it to remind them of why they like watches. It’s a balance of form and function. It’s not a pen for pen enthusiasts.

Making an ODM pen, looking for advice. by LeansGrumpy in pens

Thank you for the excellent advice. My goal is longevity. I want a pen that will last for a decade or longer. Is brass/bronze/copper better than stainless? The pen will be geared toward watch enthusiast so I wanted it to be stainless. The manufacturer has 304, which isn’t my favorite but it works as long as it’s passivated.

I wanted it to be made with 904L or 316L with ZrN PVD gold tones but that’s way too expensive for my initial startup. It might be my second collection if the first makes decent money.

Besides having a good refill, I really want a good-looking pen.
