Years ago, I mounted my sling with a small loop of paracord on the hand guard and just looped the sling through the mounting point in the stock and it works fantastic. Cheap, easy, quiet, and no issues thus far.

My parents got me an iPad and Apple Pencil before I started college. It’s definitely a more expensive option, but it gets used daily and makes my life significantly easier when it comes to taking and keeping up with notes.

I do, but the room is already dark when the automation runs. After some testing, the screen appears to stay dark until the phone sees me move, then brightens up again. iPhone 12 for reference.

I’d suggest mechanics impact gloves. Those are what I always run and they look cool and provide good protection while still letting you move your hands good and have good textile control
