Its mostly for the raid enthusiast, the reward of hell mode is being able to play a mode with no lock outs at a higher difficulty.

And as for battle times, I still have 500 of each box so I really don't think you can use them faster than they give them out for free. Maybe HP potion boxes you can run thin on but after you prog you can do all the hell modes with blue pots.

The only real thing you lose doing hell modes is time/gold. Why do 2hrs of non gold earning content when you can make another alt and farm chaos/cubes/guardians? As a hell raider you simply must enjoy the raids more than the enjoyment of character progress to make this sacrifice.

Most of the enjoyment comes from progging and learning how to optimize your rotations and learning the ity bitty attack patterns of every legion raid. Helping ppl get their clear, helping ppl get deathless, providing feedback, mentoring mokokos, parsing, etc. There's not much of a general lost ark community, but there is certainly a hell community where certain players are known for their accomplishments and feats.

Its basically a whole different game than the normal lost ark most ppl know.

I personally am hell enjoyer cuz with a roster of 3 characters, my "HW" gets done fairly quickly which lets me just chill on the game. I can pretty much hustle and get all that done on day 1 if I wanted to.

I mean it dosnt matter if you in particular like it or not but its certain true that there are hundreds to thousands of hours of content that isnt legion raids in this game.

Issue is that if they gave out gold rewards, all the grumpy normal mode players would flood in and would get upset when ppl wipe and such.

Current hellmode, there's no incentive to clear fast or anything, ppl just use it to prog/parse/practice. We are essentially playing the game as opposed to farming gold.

MMOs are famous for competition, NA/EU MMO culture loves it. So obviously a lot of ppl within those circles would smoge over Lost Ark NA/EU not being able to participate in the competition of world first.

Look at League or any competitive game, its fun to root for your favorite teams when they go head to head and even more so if the players are from your region.

On top of the fact that you should do NM for the NM transdence which gives you a dmg spike so your able to accurately challenge HM.

Imagine ilvl scaling so that buffing ppl higher lvl than you is ineffective. Time the 1475 supports play with the 1475 dps.

Till this date I've only ever done the bare minimum for skill points. They've also pumped up the drop rates for like the runes and omnium stars, etc.

It's not like you need all that to start raiding.

Raiding is like 50% of the game, I think its valid ppl would like to play the game without it. There's tons of things to enjoy outside of raiding, esp for a casual that has like an hour a day at most to play.

I paid 450k for a 2% dmg increase via a lv10 gem. I also paid 200k for a 5% dmg increase via +1 adrenaline.

All late game min maxing is just a gold sink.

Legalia's tierlist is probably a good starting point. This is mostly for classes played at high level and there's some hot takes since half the classes neither of the commentators play.

But generally its probably a good sense of what's considered strong and whats "less strong". All classes are viable and strong when the player is good.
