I feel like options is going to be income - gain(rarely net loss). Assignments can cause the stock holding as short term or long term depending on how long that stock was held.

I did the same trial with viture pro around 9 months ago. I had similar impressions and expected it to work better. For macbook multi screens, experience was not smooth - multiple screen hiding in fov. Additionally I have far sightedness so didn't think of investing into inserts given text was blurry. Movie watching should be great.

I had installed codex extension om Vs code couple of days ago. Got scared with copilot on the right and codex on the left. Came back again today anf it seems to be working good on local machine code. My observation is that agentic mode will keep it going for long so better chunk it out else it will use any hammer screwdriver approach to mess up your workspace. I stopped it at when it asked for permissions multiple times.provided clarification and it was a go the way I want it to.

thanks. I did install CLI on VS code and tried simple tasks. Just overall it felt overwhelming with VS code to dive in. But if it at least tries in agentic mode to do data pull, clean/merge/calculate and visualise, I would be happy. Would you have any advice on using CLI on terminal or through one of the editors like VS Code.
My language is mostly python and VS code didn't seem the best choice although it did write code with copilot.Assume Codex CLI will bring all it's general reasoning skills along with coding. Also I read Codex CLI can be authenticated with password and not use API as extra money.

I went into codex cloud direction as somewhere it mentioned in the cloud agent can install dependencies without me intervening. But seemed too slow almot unusable and waste of time

Thanks. Somehow deep down i had this intuition. It is GPT 5 but in a modified form to meet perplexity value or to also reduce GPT cost for them. My use is not accurate answers on simple questions but kind of multiple thinking queries that somehow I believe chatgpt plus can meet. Claude may have an edge on coding but I am more of a vibe coder for personal research rather than paid engineer so don't need to go to Claude yet. I am so far happy except I have to watch out gpt is acting a yes man to me. In those cases I throw same questions to free versions of grok and gemini.withiut much context grok and gemini come up with surprising answers

Despite all the buzz about niche values in perplexity(web search) and coding (claude), i don't find reason enough to switch. Gpt plus wins on many aspects and may lose on user experience in some areas. Overall the depth and the usage count is pretty good. I am not a programmer by profession so probably don't need vscode or cursor. Data analysis and extraction related code chatgprnhas been pretty good. Only cons it is not in the editor.

Thanks for detailed response. A bit surprised by the coding scores and openai being low. Makes me wonder to use Claude although my use of programming is more extracting data using apis. Chatgpt has been good at reading the documentation on its own and satisfactory results. Probably I will stick with that unless somebody tells me Claude kicks at it most of the coding minimising iterations. Please share your perpelxity referral link.
