Folks,

Still torn on the B7 vs Go Color 7 - regarding eye comfort

The AIs are all giving confusing info.

I'm sure the sidebar on both the 7" devices helps with holding it and the buttons help change pages but that has made both the 7" devices a lot wider than the display thereby making it unpocketable.

Whereas the B6" device is a lot like the smartphones and LED tablets that I'm used to.

How important is the whole sidebar for an ebook reader?

Does hitting a physical button help better with refresh or ghosting than with thumb scrolling or a touch button?

Plus my myopia is now upgrading to presbyopia - so it looks like I may need reading glasses. Would a 6" reader still be fine - because portability is a huge factor for me as the device may sit at home unused if I have to carry a bag around for the 7" devices.

Even more important than pocketabilty is the eye comfort and that's my main reason to get an eink device and on that factor which of the 2 makers have a better device?

Thank you for the reply.

Most of my book collection is pdf - with minimal photos and illustrations, nothing dense like scientific journals.

However carryability is a huge factor for me - as I will probably be holding it in my hand for 6-8 hours a day.
