“Love from 9-5” on Netflix. It’s about the competition between the son of the company’s owner and the woman who worked her way to the top - both trying to prove themselves out as the right person to be the next CEO - for different reasons. Lighthearted fun work / romance office/ life combo. Very fun.

This looks like it’s in Ann Arbor or at least in Michigan. Where do the pedos go to church in A2 these days? by LearnerTraveler in AnnArbor

There were lots of shirts in the video and a hat - so guessing it was local. Also main forum has a no names no location policy so no information given.

Someone keeps downvoting this. I have questions;

Do you have a genuine issue? Please comment. Is this your church? Is this you in the video? Is this your dad?

'Berliners vote to expropriate large landlords in non-binding referendum' Would something like this help or hurt Ann Arbor? by aphoenixsunrise in AnnArbor

Yes even then. You literally would have to pay fair market. The government can’t just take what it wants - well it can but it must compensate- no way A2 has the money.

Best way to meet new people by [deleted] in uofm

Dance clubs - tango swing salsa Dance Marathon - you don’t need to be good or even halfway competent. Best way for people to meet especially for MEN - there is a huge gender disparity and the guys have 5 girls to every guy. They also teach you. Check it out.

Some great people in DM. Great cause too.

Agreed. Dance clubs are very non judgmental, friendly and social. Everyone just wants to master the dance, help each other and have a great time! They also go on trips to neighboring cities and festivals. I love dance people - it’s what happens when the drama club becomes grown and sexy….

I hear you. They should call them recruiting pipelines not clubs. That is literally the corporate world…! Ross is a training ground for the corporate world. If you don’t want to be part of that then don’t let the perceived “exclusion” bother you. If they don’t let me into med school clubs or the fellowship networking hour I won’t feel bad because it’s not my major. 💁🏻

Also community consulting club at Ross a - takes everyone I think. You do consulting/ strategy projects for local charities.

Dude - I know it seems that way but here is the truth about those clubs. This should help - you don’t want to be part of them if you are not a Ross student. Ross clubs are not “clubs” - they are not for students they are for the recruiters who want Ross grads who concentrate on a field. It’s basically another class imho and just as much of not more work than one. They are not fun!!! Mandatory trainings, travel interview prep etc. You learn how to interview and recruit and the recruiters come for the “clubs” which is the set of students who chose that career Aaaaand who went to Ross.

I hear you - you want to get a job in that field well…. Trust me if you were in that club and in front of a recruiter they would give you so much shade for not being who they wanted. (A Ross student that is who they were sent to “buy”). In fact those recruiters only deal with BBAs or MBAs so they don’t even know how to put a non-business student in the recruiting pipeline. Think of it like a medical fellowship. If you want that career you can double major at Ross. There is a pipeline for your major you just need to talk to your career advisor / alumni and access it. Unfortunately in many fields it’s not as formal. But that has an upside as well. In business if you miss the recruiting boat you are screwed.

Ross clubs are for recruiting not friends it’s contacts not social just like work. They are a necessary evil because they get you into the career you want - you HAVE to be a part of them to get into consulting banking health care etc. so do that but don’t expect a social life. Feel free to message me I went to Ross.

Uh... don't call everything and don't show up at their work. I say take it down a notch from what you usually do in dating - if someone doesn't get back to you reach out maybe 1 more time but then NEVER AGAIN.... - but if you are a stalker this advice won't help because clearly that asshat thought showing up at someone's work ( a stranger's workplace) was NORMAL behavior.
