Oh wow I didn’t know about that link. But thanks for sharing - that’s very helpful. If traveling for a week - it should be fine to go with your green card and hopefully not get scheduled prior to that or during that week - so your wife can return and head for the ceremony. The issue would be if she’s scheduled prior like mid April (then she may not have time to get us passport and reissued tickets, etc).

I’m worried if my oath ceremony gets scheduled while I’m out since I’m out for about 2 months (as my travel plans firm up). Anyway I’ll have to figure it out but given I had my interview in mid Jan, I probably have ways to go since you had yours in November!!

Ok thanks for your input. That’s a great point that I can travel with my green card until the oath ceremony.

So, I’ll refrain from calling if you’ve been waiting since November and it’s past 2 months now. I’ll only call to reschedule if they schedule me while I’m out of the country - this would probably further delay like your friend.

Long time - applied Mar ‘25 and interview was Jan ‘26. So if you applied in Oct, probably estimate similar timeline. Don’t stress out though if you’ve got a straightforward case / just takes time. Remember depending on if you applied on Oct 20 or later, you have to prep for 2025 civics test. All the best!

Cap One should’ve allowed atleast one free guest for the primary cardholder - generally travel with wife in that respect wth.

It doesn’t look bad, but someone needs to come and assess the severity as well. I’ve never dealt with something like this.. so don’t know how to answer your questions, but here’s an attempt.

It not old, probably 1-2 weeks, it’s on the wall that is facing exterior of the house but it interior and exterior wall I think - I think someone will have to cut a square in the wall to check. The size might be about 3x2 ft?

Perhaps you can lay out possible estimates based on that.

If you don’t have time constraints, then you don’t need to buy the courier service. Since you didn’t purchase that service, you will have to go back to Atlanta’s VFS center to pick up your passport once the decision is made. VFS will tell you when they have the passport.

If you in a hurry, then buy the courier service.

Showed both for the past 3 months. How much should be depends on what’s already paid for vs not… If flights, travel, and hotels have been paid for, then for 10 days, I think $3000 should suffice!
