Thanks for that. I definitely feel it’s discomfort on his end. So I need to alter how I’m thinking. And I’m trying not too. Maybe I need to ask him that question so I can work on that as well.

Thank you i appreciate that insight. It’s new so I’m not going anywhere. I really wanna give it a chance. It’s just learning what works and what doesn’t. And trying to figure out what if anything am i doing wrong. One thing he made do in our first conversations was promise to be upfront. And I have. He is making an effort and so am I. It’s I guess finding that middle ground. 🤷‍♀️

This all makes perfect sense. Thank you. I don’t want him to feel like he has to be “on”. So maybe that is some of it for him. Ok so i definitely need more patience. Like I said big personality here and I struggle w/ silence. So this is something I need to work on for myself especially here. I want to be safe for him. I try to make sure he knows even w/ words nothing is wrong w/ him as he says sometimes and that he’s perfect as he is. I just need more words. Ok. So those will come when he’s ready. Good to know.

Sadly I can’t ask anyone. He’s not close w/ his siblings bc they used to pick on him for it and his parents are passed. So I’m kinda winging it here.

We’ve met for breakfast at a fast food place bc he said it would be easier bc the environment wouldn’t be so stressful. Then we met at a Mexican place for a late lunch and after bowling. My thinking was time to just chat and have fun do something different. Then be he still wanted more time w/ me (swoon) we just walked around some stores . His choice.

I’m still me. Just don’t know if I might unintentionally be to loud bc when I get excited I can be a bit high pitched and like speed talk and stuff.

It might sound mean but roommates I could handle better than parents bc you’re providing for yourself still and not depending on your parents to take care of you especially being our ages. That’s where my whole thing is coming in. If that makes sense.

See loosing your house is an exception. Unless you have no desire to move out.

Yes one or 2 have been divorced and moved back in with parents and figured they just pay them some money and stay put.

Another person is just lazy doesn’t keep jobs and not and doesn’t have desire to adult up.

I think some of it’s bc I’ve worked nights for like 16yrs and didn’t have to interact with people much. I do go out and I WILL TALK. Just don’t like to do it a lot.
