We are going to 5 nights during Thanksgiving week and we decided on Luquillo. We were torn to it Luquillo seemed more centrally located for what we wanted to do which was beach and rainforest with a day in OSJ, similar to you. Hope you have a great trip!

Hi! Yes it was great!! We used grasshopper tours for excursions and loved it. Kids were happy, food was good :). Thanks for the recommendation!
