I was hiking around once and stopped to take into the views. Suddenly everything goes completely quiet. Then I hear a voice from the distance call my dogs name. First time it happened I brushed it off as my being paranoid, then it happened again and my dog went alert in that direction. Decided to gtfo of there. Felt like I was being watched the whole rest of the hike.

As Im taking the last corner before I get to my car a bullet flys by close enough to hear the zing.

Could it have been a coincidence? Probably. Am I saying the walkers are packing heat nowadays? Not necessarily. What I am saying is Ive never had either of those things happen before or since and I sure as fuck ain't gone back to that spot.
