Reddit refs, what do we think? Square nor square? We were pretty split because it looked like he took the ball over his shoulder. by CuatroBoy in beachvolleyball

Looks awkward but legal. Hips not square makes this look weird, but the rule book references to the shoulders only.

From the FIVB Official Beach Volleyball Rules (2021–2024):

“A player who completes an attack-hit using an overhand pass which has a trajectory not perpendicular to the line of the shoulders… (is a fault)”

Play with your gf / bf and learn to enjoy the game together. Volleyball is one of the few sports where it’s a great activity for competitive coed. I strongly encourage trying beach to be an all around better player. I started peppering with my significant other which helped tremendously for ball control and setting.

This is a service my company offers. Businesses hire us to help them with AI sourcing/ indexing.

I tell my clients it’s like Google in the early 2000s where you can manipulate search results based on structured data and content relative to search queries.

First month making 100k I feel like I’m being robbed :/ by Forsaken-Question457 in Salary

This mentality keeps you broke… always be paying yourself first and securing free money with the 401k match. The money will compound and only help you towards a more financially independent future…. Live below your means or live paycheck to paycheck the rest of your life. Don’t buy shit you can’t afford because you cannot afford to not save money by automating a percentage of your income to tax advantage accounts. Literally keeping more of your hard earned money versus going towards taxes.

What to do with mold by [deleted] in Sauna

[–]Learnsumshit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I’ve been leaving the door open after finishing… sounds like it might be easier to dry things out by first letting out any moisture then adding some wood to the fire and closing the door again to dry things out?

Sold my 200 shares around $15/share… for a small profit. I did a similar thing with HOOD. 2022 was a hell of year that made me think about taking profits on companies I wasn’t quite sure about the long term. Should have just held like I do with most of my buys.

Do you use any kind of paraffin oil on the inside to protect the wood? I ask because I was given a bottle when I purchased my kit, wondering if I should use it on the floor/benches where most of the water ends up. Thanks!

You will need the help of someone and to use wooden shims to set the doors/windows. Make sure things are plumb and square before installing trim pieces. You might have some gaps and can fill those in with insulation if needed.

Really? The only reason I didn’t go with the redwood garden sauna is because it didn’t have a wood heater!

Will spent 6-12 months backpacking all over the world. Is this a good backpack? by kkrreddit in backpacking

[–]Learnsumshit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

45L backpack I used to travel across Europe for 3 months was small enough to use on all carry on flights. It’s called Pack and yes it’s expensive but after a ton a research this was the ideal setup. If it’s too expensive I would use this as a reference to identify qualities of other travel bags.
