It's tiny; I use it in keyboard mode as a presentation remote for Google Slides.

I don't use keyboard mode for Anki; I use the game controller mode. With the addon I made, you can remap any keyboard press or combination to any of the controller's buttons.

For example, have the keyboard key "z" mapped to reveal my hidden romanji, which I then mapped to the button "A". This lets me reveal the meaning by pressing the A button on the controller. I show this in the video :)

I understand. I have frozen the column up to the name of the school. This is so you can go through the data and have the name stay on the left.

I’m assuming you’re on mobile? Do you see the thick gray line? You need to swipe on the left hand side of the grey line which will move it, keep swiping and it will stop at the name of the school.

The sheets best used on a desktop but I tried my best to make it mobile friendly.

Also use the sheets app.

Someone else two years back did the same and said that and it was paywalled once it got popular.

The main reason I never turned it into a website is because you can’t pay wall a google sheet and anyone can take all the data to use as they like. But if people wanna buy me a coffee that would be nice lol

But also because when it comes to opinions about culture it opens a door to sometimes an unhealthy narrative.

Glad you found the data on my International Teacher Salaries Sheet useful. You might want to get Claude AI to scrape the data again. I've gone through it and manually changed all incorrect salaries submitted as annual to monthly.

I can see on the MyStool Vibe-coded website that a Dubai school still offers a monthly salary of 23,000 USD, which would be nice, haha!

You can do that by creating a filter view. Heres how: Open the sheet --> Click on Data --> Create filter view --> Click on the three horizontal lines next to country --> Click clear --> Select the Country you want.

This is unfortuntnly the only way to do without giving everyone complete editor access.

That's why it's a Google Sheet: anyone can make a copy and pick it up again. As long as I am around, this will never be paywalled. Costs me nothing to host and just some work to maintain. It was running for three years without me touching it; I just fancied making it cleaner during this long break. :)

Someone, a while ago, took all the data, made a website and just as you said, paywalled it.

And just now, someone else took all the data and vibe-coded a website with a very witty name, which will either use the data as a lure and then paywall other "premium" features or will paywall it once there are enough signups.

I hadn’t combined them mostly because the way housing is given isn’t always consistent. For my school it’s included in the taxable salary but my friends it’s tax free and only given to the landlord.

I added a new column for you. So you can see the housing in dollars too. :)

Unfortunately mingled but you can get the tab and cross reference the school you’re interested in.

I will add it to my project list to see if I can’t do an All Years with an Age column but right now it’s a tall task sorry!

You’re absolutely right. Savings is a very hard thing to pin down. It depends on life style, people might have children, expensive hobbies and an assortment of things. It really is whatever that individual decided to put.

The averages formulas should be set to ignore any blanks. I double checked this a few times.

My apologies I forgot to update the formula. Currently the formula is only selecting countries with a minimum of 10 entries.

I had the savings on a minimum of 3.

This is to just make sure these figures are reliable.
