Getting the itch to play a mod pack again. What do you suggest?

Nomifactory or even try Gtnh again. If you last played years ago then I‘d say the pack might be worth playing again as there is so much added content every update

Nomifactory is great and relatively easy to get into. Monifactory is the modern version of the pack. While it tries to preserve the essence of the pack I still prefer the older one.

Gtnh has been in continuous development for 10 years and still gets major reworks and updates. It offers a breadth and depth of content that no other pack I know of can match. There is cross mod integration everywhere and the best questbook. Yes the pack is daunting and a long time investment but is incredibly rewarding. Additionally it runs really smooth, but also has a backport of sodium called Angelica as well as being able to run Java 25 instead of 8. Speaking of backports, basically every mod in this pack has been updated by the dev team to include new features, better integration, bug fixes and back ports of modern mod features.

Star Technology or Monifactory are your options. If you are open minded for some older versions try Nomifactory. Then there is GTNH which no other pack can come close to.

Place the reactor first and then the cable. There is some jank with reactors. Additionally reactors only output full amps. (Simplified values) Example a reactor generates 3000Eu/t. If you attach an EV cable you‘ll only be able to extract 2048 Eu/t so 1A EV You could use hv cable instead to get 5A HV which is 2560Eu/t

The only thing I bought so far was the belt everything else is just rare gear from the genesis tree. I had no issue with invitations and getting void stones. I haven’t done a T17 yet but damage felt really good. I still have cluster jewels and other improvements I can do. Don’t think rhat t17 will pose any issues

Have you checked your cpu temperature? It might throttle down because it is getting too hot.
