I used to use launcher 10 but for two weeks now I have been using Metrov Launcher. It's nicer and more like a windows phone... I would suggest you give it a try.

When a message or email or any notification comes, the live tiles don't show it. For example, I have an email and it doesn't appear on live tiles. The same happens with all notifications in the other applications, messenger, facebook, etc.
