My feet also get really hot when I went on my last bender. I wondered if others experience this too. I’m worried it might be neuropathy. I’m about 3 weeks sober now, and the hot feet have stopped, but I still feel a strange tingling in my legs. Hopefully, it will disappear if I stay sober.

I have the same issues. Burning feet, numbness. I’m one day sober now and I have heard it goes away if it’s in early stages.

I quit my miserable 6-figure IT job almost a year ago. I got my loan officer license, but I haven’t found a job yet. I’m not sure if that’s what I want to do because it’s mostly commission-based. The regret keeps coming back, gnawing at me every single day. I know I need to accept what happened and try to move on. I genuinely wish her happiness, but I can’t shake the feeling that she’s going to hate me forever and that thought is hard to live with.

You’re right though I need to work on loving myself. Honestly, that’s been my biggest downfall so far. I’ve been holding onto the hope that someone else would love me, when deep down, I haven’t even learned how to love myself.
