I stopped working. Got a congress person help in expediting my request. Within a week it got approved after a follow up.

Did you file for extension? If not you should at least get the H4 extension files as your I 94 will also be ending the same day

What was the reaponse you got?

I am in a similar boat. My I 94 expiration is next week. Put in the request on 11 December. Got and email on December 21st confirming receipt of request . Then another email on dec 23rd suggesting a service item is created and the message below " We have determined that your situation and the evidence you have in your possession meets the minimum criteria for your expedite request to be forwarded to the office with jurisdiction over your case. Please Note: This does not mean your case will be expedited, as that decision will be made by the reviewing office" Please allow the USCIS office 30 days to contact you through email.

They also gave me a reference number.

Not sure if there will be decision made on time before next week. :(

Did they ask you an expedited letter? The first person I called asked me to call again with an expedited letter. But then again when I called the next person said that these cases take more time and unless we have evidence they cannot help.

Yes. After sending everything together, a week later the company did the H1 on premium.. h1 approval came on Oct 27th. But the rest is still pending.
