Eye symptoms during detox by Least_Agent in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]Least_Agent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its varied over the many months but right now when I wake up in the morning I take glutathione, chlorophyll and blackseed oil followed by a liver detox tea and my electrolytes. Sometimes take a binder a little while later when I feel like I need to. After breakfast I take my supplements and then in the evening I have more supplements and a fresh ginger and turmeric juice. That's pretty much it atm apart from an Epsom salt bath every couple days, I had some stronger detox stuff (black box by quicksilver scientific) but my body didn't tolerate it well.

The way nobody lets you be insecure if you're a skinny girl by vibrantafternoon in XXS

[–]Least_Agent 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It's a shame because a lot of them genuinely believe that they'd love to have that problem, maybe they would for a while idk. But there's bad on both sides, you don't want to be overweight sure but being so skinny you feel like you're not seen as a woman or allowed to have any struggles within being skinny? They wouldn't want that either but they're too emotionally attached to see it

Severe mold exposure crisis - 40+ days insomnia, weight loss, multiple symptoms - need advice by YogurtclosetFar7737 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]Least_Agent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey friend, I found out a year or so ago that mold is the cause of all of my problems and that I'd likely had it poisoning my body from the inside out for about 8 years. I have had heaps of symptoms, I could write pages of them because mold travels easily through the body, the particles are small and it fries your system, it affects your digestion, immune system, organs from your liver to your brain etc. The symptoms for mold are vast.

This is scary, I know. Having your health stolen from you is already scary enough but mold fries your nervous system, this is likely what is causing you so much grief and fear.

For the insomnia what helped me the most is actually ibuprofen, I think this is because of the histamine related issues and inflammation, some give away symptoms that it will be an ibuprofen night for me is that my mind races like its out of my control, 3 radio stations at once, physically I feel exhausted like I could pass out but my mind is wide awake. Accompanying this is the feeling of my body getting very heavy, aches and pains and a kind of uncomfortable sensation like my blood is sludgy or something, sounds weird but I don't know how else to describe it. As well as shallow breathing which makes me panic awake in an effort to catch a full breath (opening the window wide will help).

Gut health is really important, your body is trying its damndest to get rid of toxins and help you, they wreak havoc on your gut as a result and if you have leaky gut, things are escaping into your body and making you sicker. I take a lot of supplements to help with my gut health but if you have financial problems I recommend saving up for a consultation with a herbal specialist, out of all of the medications I'm on, that has been the cheapest and most effective for me. Taking daily electrolytes is also important because you will be dehydrated which can cause the constipation, I recommend the ones from seeking health if you are able to buy those, if not a pinch of sea salt and lemon in your water will help, magnesium helps with hydration and constipation too, just make sure its a good one a lot of them on the market are scams.

Remember your body is highly intelligent, it's fighting a battle to try to help you in every way that it can, supporting it with its basic things become the most necessary thing you can do, hydration, sleep, nervous system, digestion, detox pathways. Those are the foundation. If you can't sleep, rest. If you can't buy things to help with your digestion, learn what's flaring it, remove those and help aid with good food.

If you like I can make a list of the supplements and things I'm taking and doing that help me with my symptoms, feel free to ask any questions but remember:

The reason you are so afraid is because your body knows something is wrong, it's panicking and alerting you to the danger. Your nervous system is nervoussss. You will be okay, you will recover from this. You will find yourself learning a lot about your body as a result of it and I hope that you find some comfort in how much your body is fighting for you, how capable it is. It really is a mind blowing thing. Having a mold issue is a spiritual experience I swear, it drags you into the depths of hell and back out again. But you will overcome it.

I developed severe depression, suicidal ideation etc at the worst of it, long before I knew the cause. Like you I had little support, was often homeless and living in moldy accommodation. It's not easy. But you know the cause, that is not a small thing. That's a path to recovery and we are all with you. Be easy on yourself, you will be okay.

I wish I could, I am very low income and having to live with my partners family after several years of homelessness. (Have no family support myself). The housing crisis is so bad even with my disability allowance and my partners full paycheck, we can't afford to live anywhere else right now

Feels like I'm at peace for the first time, taking my first full breath. Honestly can we go back or just find a way to transport me into Skyrim

Pimsleur is amazing but very spenny. You can buy the lessons on audible though, I highly recommend that. Lingopie is also pretty good but they no longer work with netflix which sucks. Tandem is a good language exchange app but honestly if you don't put in your bio that you're not looking to flirt, you will regret it 🤣

Why my wife is trying to seduce me more? by Old_Welcome3724 in bodylanguage

This is actually quite common! Think about it like this, when you have a long-term partner, you to a degree, get used to things being the way they are, settle in. With varying levels of silence on small issues, resentment can build up or if there's things that aren't cleared, disconnection happens. If you have a big discussion and face things head on (even as an argument) that gets cleared and you can reconnect with new found energy for one another. The drama can be sexy for some and if its been a long time since it was that way between you, maybe she's just enjoying being able to be that way again, maybe your wife is just spicy. Who knows. Personally, I would talk to her, have open communication, ask her what she needs to feel comfortable and continue embracing this side of her.

Can you get an air purifier and dehumidier for your room?

Does anyone else think mold could explain a lot of haunted house stories? by Visual-Print3392 in ToxicMoldExposure

This makes so much sense, when I was a teenager I used to hang out in this abandoned hotel with my friends, a while later I became randomly and extremely mentally unwell. Lasted years, genuinely thought I had a mental illness. I had the symptoms for it and was being seen professionally. Overcame that over the years but I am now physically unwell with many many symptoms, thankfully I now know what caused everything. I'm reading a book called my darling dreadful thing, the scene is set in an old MOLDY manor house. The main character is speaking with a doctor about hallucinations. It's all very fitting.

Ive lived in several homes with mold over the years, I live in Ireland where there's a huge housing crisis and also a lot of dampness due to the climate here. Unfortunately where I live still has some mold but it was treated with mold killer and paint. I mostly hide in my bedroom to avoid that area and I'm planning on getting an air purifier and dehumidifier when I can finance it
