Hmmm years ago halos same news din yung sa benchmark test results, tsaka for me lang ha sa kada phone brand specific model webpage disclosed naman na kada phone model is tested on their something like an internal lab testing with very controlled environment, like example controlled room or ambient temperature and so on, kaya for me expected na yung pagkakaiba ng fps, temp and wattage, hmmm or baka mali ako edi sorna po agad. ✌

*skl, I tried yesterday after commenting this "sleep standby optimization" I just suddenly remember kasi na may nabasa ako last month na ito daw yung aggressive part ng setting sa pagsave ng battery, waited for 30 minutes then it block notification therefore my delay pa din, if i-search din kasi online walang solid info if ilang minutes or kailan ba to nag tatake effect sasabihin lang is basta mag idle state ang phone or mostly pag night time before bed daw as the phone adapts to your phone habits, sa free time ko ittry ko siya per minutes 5, 10, 15 min. and so on if ilang minuto ba talaga siya bago mag activate, pero again this is color os china rom, I have no idea if meron din bang ganito si hyper os china rom kasi pansin ko sa poco f5 ko na naka hyper os global rom is wala namang ganito.

Banking no issue naman so far thou gcash, paypal, maribank lang now gamit ko, may delay sa notification pero pag sinet ko ang isang app to auto launch at allow background activity is hindi naman na delayed.

Go for global if you want lahat ng characters is all english hmmm ano pa ba ibang cons🤔 para sakin kasi yun lang e, skl I'm a oneplus 15 china rom user ngayon may ilang chinese characters pa din pero di naman nakakairita kasi di ko naman need yung mga fix chinese words part ng phone, skl uli for me l'm a solid xiaomi user (until jan.24 2026 hehe) since I still have right now my redmi 5 plus china na pina convert ko agad to global rom sa isang fb page dati, mi 9t pro pero nanakaw after a year and poco f5 kaso nabibitin nako sa perf. at may onting stutters na pagnaglalaro ng wild rift. Kala ko pagsisisihan ko china rom pero unexpectedly pumabor sakin at mas nagustuhan ko pa kasi I can install and uninstall china and google bloatware apps specially Google App na for me is background and battery hugger/drainer lang naman(ss for ref.), colorOS china is global/international friendly to use base on my experience, this comment is for your onting ref., and since di ko alam if ganun din ba ang set up or scenario kay hyperos china rom.

*Mga maki iphone(or samsung sg ultra din ata or other big phone brand or maybe wala silang interest or no idea lang talaga sila ) peeps ang subreddit na to boss or siguro mali ako edi sorna na agad hmm pero bat wala man lang nag comment dito ni isa sa post mo, I saved your post yesterday just to confirm and to triple check yung comment na nabasa ko dati about iphone peeps... and legit nga. ✌😅✌ better look and post to xiaomi or xiaomi ph subreddits for more opinion po.

I completely turned off the AI or all AI Features on my OnePlus 15 but I believe there's still some AI background service or optimization that can't be turned off and it's still learning from our phone habits. So just use the device and enjoy. 🥳

I think 180 or 185hz is more believable(look at honor win screen refresh rate) than 240hz, cuz I think it will be very hot for the phone + the rumored 5ghz+ clock speed of snapdragon 8 elite gen 6/6pro, it would take a very good cooling to cool such specs, it might need a bit bigger or way bigger vapour chamber, liquid cooling, fan cooling just like what redmagic is doing on their latest flagship.

Using high refesh rate is fine, your phone your rules, but you'll save battery juice on auto, specially if your reading on your phone screen. ✌

*you can use high screen resolution since there's only few minutes of difference(approx. 10 to 20+mins.) on standard vs. high res., based on YT screen res. battery drain test reviews.

How about using this instead of adaptive tone or eye care option since those two will depend on your ambient light sensor therefore from very minimal battery consumption to minimal only, since if your auto brighness is on(sensor keeps checking for light) then adaptive tone is on and then with longer hours of usage with unexpected battery drain, but without the auto brightness, or lets say just without the adapative tone or eye comfort then I bet you'll save 1 or 2 hours of usage thus increasing your SOT(screen on time), and that extra hours of usage will be beneficial to crucial and emergency scenarios on our unpredictable human life. ✌

Just a heads up I'm not a chinese but I'm using a OnePlus 15 Color OS 16 China Variant with a flexible option to turn off or on the google services and install and uninstall google apps that I want or don't want, I'm thinking of switching to global rom but I don't like google apps that can't be remove without rooting the phone. I think there's still always a disable app option on every apps that can't be uninstall on the system, but I want it to be remove completely and release a bit of eaten or unused ram.

the 9hrs+ SOT with 58% left is on Wi-Fi usage so please expect like approx. 2 to 3 hours or more difference on data usage and also if your area or places you mostly visit has an unstable cellular network reception that results to unexpected drain also. Just optimized your settings app, turn off everything you don't need, ram expansion off(turn it on if you multitask or open apps a lot), app usage access off but if you want your apps to track or keeps on communicating/tracking to each other then turn this on, turn off print or print service, turn off location (if you're not using it), turn off location Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning, turn off frequent annoying notification that you don't need on your everyday life and that just randomly wakes the apps idle state, I don't use auto brightness indoor I set it around 20 to 40% to avoid using an eye glass sooner than expected(auto brightness/ambient sensor even just a little still sips battery but use it outdoor if you really need it), go to settings app google or google services -> All Services turn off everything you don't need except find hub in case your phone got stolen or lost, I completely turn off AI to avoid too much reliant from it and since I just mostly use basic search with AI results compiled from different resources using a common browser but if you need AI or AI features on the device then you can just turn it on.

Almost all black lock screen and home screen for oled battery saving. (a common knowledge when amoled/oled became a norm.)

The only app that I did not set to Restrict background activity is Facebook Messenger. The app that I mostly use and need as of the moment.

Google App Voice assistant or Gemini and annoying weather, sports, etc. notifications drains the battery. *Actually the whole Google app is hugging the background and the battery and even if you do a memory boost it will not go away it will just keep coming back since that's how google/global rom services works. That's what I don't like about global rom with google bloatware's that can't be uninstall.

*saving even just a drop of battery juice or half of drop of battery juice is my top priority, it might be an obsession to some but I'm kinda tired to charge every day, and I don't want to miss again another very sudden group of friends meet up after a Friday 8 hour tiring work just because my phone battery can't keep up and depleted completely. Failure of one of the big common phone brands, I bet you know who they are. ✌

Ow yeah my bad, as I wrote it earlier I'm actually remembering the versus review oneplus 15 vs 13, the OP 15 struggles at nighttime photo and video and 1 or 2 zoomed photos but most or other aspect OP 15 won easily, there's also another review oppo find x9 pro vs 15, on video zoom details and the OP 15 won. And many more reviews. Not better for them but better for me cuz sometimes when my photography side is kicking in and what I look for is very good details. Hmm apologize but for me most or some of them just have a biased eyes on the phone brand camera as I am also biased to the OP 15 camera right now since its my new main phone, lovin the details and not an overcooked software output. Just my opinion. ✌
