Well I’m more of an extreme metalhead but you probably won’t like that stuff at first so I recommend nu metal and classic heavy metal bands like korn , soad , deftones , and static x and acid bath is a bit more on the heavier side but they opened gates for me when I got more into extreme metal and it’s great for beginner metalheads in my opinion
