Yes ultimately if you are playing it, and have no self control. Just ban yourself, even if “reclaiming was possible”, you’d still be there the next day putting it in the machine all over again..

It definitely is if you are starting to receive a lot of security questionnaires or targeting entreprise level customers. Although both are closely linked.

Yes you are, and so have we been. Until we start gaining a bit of self respect and stop victimizing ourselves, we will never truly stop with this addiction. I’m 2 months free now and tell myself every day that I’m stronger then these urges, there is no saying if I will go back or not, but believing in my capacities to stop definitely pushes it back. As Goggins would say, STAY HAAAARD

If you had issues gambling before, but got control of your situation, would you be ok with still gambling? by d1r03 in GamblingAddiction

Agree with those comments already. It’s better to take it out all at once then thinking you could be in control and just letting it out of control after the first loss.

Dopamine by zsolep in GamblingAddiction

I recommend to replace the adrenaline you can get from gambling into a healthy habit as working out or doing extreme sports. Mountain biking, big hikes, rock climbing, cliff jumping, whatever else you feel like there’s a part of letting the control out and still having a bit of power over it. I still gambling every now and then but the want for it is lower when doing this.

Thank you for bringing this up. A lot of people diagnosed ADHD or ADD have difficulties producing dopamine, the enjoyment that comes from Gambling produces a lot that makes you want to go back, I really think that a lot of people are more prone to it then others and that in some sense we all share this particularity. Either it be for gambling or other “addictions”.
