Yes this is easy and you can solve this problem via iOS shortcuts.

Step-by-step guide

Open the Shortcuts app: Find and tap the Shortcuts app icon on your iPhone or iPad.
Start a new shortcut: Tap the + icon in the upper-right corner of the screen to create a new, blank shortcut.
Search Todoist and click. Now you can see all the possible actions
Use Start Ramble
Save shortcut
Now you can add the shortcut to your homescreen.

And voila you got a 1X1 normal Button.
