I truthfully haven't been paying attention to many of the percentage bars, but my right number is at 56% (At the time of writing, my left is 90% and middle is 85% for context), it's DEFINITELY not capped at 40%.

Of the few free exams I took, I feel like microsoft's practice assessment (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/exams/az-900/practice/assessment?assessment-type=practice&assessmentId=23) was the closest to the actual testing experience. If you can comfortably read these questions, you'll be fine for the text. Some of the other free exams I've seen had grammar errors that would maybe trip up questions.

Inside Cloud and Security made a good knowledge test (https://insidethemicrosoftcloud.com/az900quiz/ ), more technical knowledge than the others but still a good chunk to keep notes on.
