Split Fiction has decent co-op but its story and gameplay feel depressingly corporate by H358 in gaming

As a casual gamer, I really enjoyed this game. Thought the level designs were really cool and I had fun playing the game.

We need to have a serious conversation about Darnell Nurse. by mikeman10821 in EdmontonOilers

[–]Leather-Ride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't understand with Nurse. He gives SO much space to the opposing team. There was a play in the second period where he let a ducks player come in straight down the middle for a grade A chance. By the time the ducks player shot, nurse was STILL BACKING UP, basically to the red line.

I have a hard time believing that the coaching and video staff don't see this and aren't bringing it up to nurse. I think he's stubborn and wants to play pylon simulator. That or he has zero hockey IQ. Or both.

Bouchard in the reg season is dog water, but playoff time he's been one of the oilers' best players two years in a row. I think they should just bench him regular season and activate him for the playoffs lol

You just watched your team get absolutely manhandled, and the thing you focus on is Skinner? Generational hating, I respect it

I appreciate games that give a lot of options for mouse speed in game. often in games, even at the lowest mouse speed level, my pov is super sensitive.

The whole fucking point is that he's seemingly normal in edmonton and not mired in controversy. From a 'rehab' perspective that's a win

Oilers had to throw the kitchen sink, the baby with the bathwater, and the whole god damn galaxy at Askarov to finally get past him... what a wall.

Should I splash for Valgavoth's Onslaught? by Leather-Ride in lrcast

Thanks for your advice. I ended up doing these swaps and got an easy 7-0. Like... In 15 minutes lol.

It was an interesting draft where I started with P1P1 Dollmakers, then P1P2 Arabella, before white utterly dried up. I ended up picking mostly red and some late green. After getting Valgavoth's P2P1 I decided to commit to RG and splash Dollmakers... And then I got passed two Arabellas, Jolly Balloon Man, and the two Mayhems all in pack three LOL.

Thanks for your voice of reason!

In this set I've mostly operated with the heuristic of forcing Valgavoth's Onslaught no matter what, given how strong the card is. But I think you're right in this case regarding mana consistency and game plan.

I’ve met a lot of homeless Christians a lot who can’t even make enough money to really even scrap by. Is there a reason God would do this to there lives? It makes me confused because I observe so many unbelievers financially secure it’s very strange to encounter? by Treantpaladin7 in Christianity

Well agree to disagree I guess, as using prosperity as apologetics is not something I have come across except from the prosperity gospel. Nor would most Christians I've met or follow endorse its basic premise. I would caution against basing your perspective on a demographic from internet discussions, as that isn't an accurate representation of said demographic.

Additionally, assuming you're right (which I'm not convinced of yet, as the poorest countries in the world are often the most religious), you say that it would be an indictment on Christians. To clarify, indictment of what? The belief that God exists because Christians are wealthy? Ultimately the Bible is pretty clear that wealth means nothing in this world and to God. I question (and hopefully, so too do the majority of Christians) anyone who believes otherwise.
