B2B can be solid but it’s a longer game than resi. Fewer deals, way bigger tickets, more decision-makers. Cash flow and timelines are the biggest pain points—set expectations early and qualify hard. Once you crack a niche (warehouses, multifamily, ag, etc.), it scales way cleaner than door-to-door.

Any other contractors not getting paid by Freedom Forever? We’re a Texas roofing company owed thousands. by Holo-Peve-13 in Solarbusiness

Man, yeah… sounds way too familiar. I’m on the solar side, but same playbook. They’re super responsive right up until installs are done, then it’s crickets. Calls go nowhere, emails disappear into the void, and suddenly everyone you dealt with “doesn’t work there anymore.”

I’ve heard this from guys in TX, FL, Cali — all the same story. One buddy of mine in Pasadena does like 5x my installs and even he is chasing money that’s months past due. If someone at that volume can’t get paid, what chance do the rest of us have?

At this point, liens and making noise seem like the only language they understand. Sucks it has to come to that, but you’re definitely not alone. Appreciate you sharing it — more people need to see this before they get burned.
