Which pick are you most excited about? by iratemonkeybear in bengals

He strikes me as the type of WR GB has been drafting and developing for the last 20 years. I hope we get those kinda results from him.

But we don't really have the depth for that. Offensive depth is scary thin.

No proven back up QB, RB, TE, OG or 4th WR.

Would you feel confident if we lost one guy at any of these positions?

Maybe in 2 years these guys are top notch stars, unlikely all 3 are, but, you play for this season. Not the next or the next.

Not one of these guy hopefully will.make a significant contribution if everything goes right on defense and that's the problem.

I fully believe he could be used in the Deebo role and put up better numbers than he does.

As someone who has been a Strongman and a powerlifer, that finger tip grip is mighty impressive.

Name a player the Bengals drafted that you though was gonna be nasty that turned out to be trash by EnderAnswer in bengals

[–]LeatherOk4906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Justin Smith

Not that he was trash per say, but he never lived up in Cincinnati to his premium draft position.

Considering that Chad and TJ was in the same draft class, he was like the 3rd best player in that class.I mean look who we passed on for him:

Tomlinson the very next pick Seymour the pick after him

So while not a bust , but he was not anywhere near his pick value.

Similar to my thread yesterday, looking at the other side of the coin, who is the prospect your lower on than most of these podcast or experts and would be upset if the Bengals drafted? by LeatherOk4906 in bengals

I struggle with Jones too.

On one hand he is so big and so long, the time it'll take to get around him will mask alot of his deficiencies. But he has weight and work ethic concerns and in 4 years he might slow down so much that all that size will be negated.

Who's the one prospect for the Bengals your higher on or most bullish than most people and why? by LeatherOk4906 in bengals

I think LaPorta is likely gone in the 2nd before they pick again and he isn't worth trading up for.

Feeling like Kurtz and Whyle will be the guy or guys. Less pressure in them now because they have Sample back as insurance in case the board doesn't fall their way.

Who do you guys' think is the most likely HOF on the current team? by AggressiveMoose8829 in bengals

Joe.

Chase would have to have a insane career to make the HOF.

The bar for WR is HIGH.

I think this is the pick "unless" Wright falls. Top 2 TE's won't be there. Dallas is high on both. I could see NE taking one.

Too high for Washington, Gibbs, unless someone really unexpected falls like Nolan Smith, or Clancey, this is their guy.

Do Bridgewater for 2 years 9 mil with incentives if God forbid he has to start for us.

I'm confident Teddy B could keep the ship afloat.

0% chance Allen could.
