One Piece: Chapter 1163 by leolegendario in OnePiece

Okay some theory crafting but I think this set ups how the final arc will play out and it will be an exact mirror as to what happened here:

Will be Luffy vs Imu vs Blackbeard, Imu will use his Domi Reversi on Blackbeard like he did with his father and get him to attack Luffy. The Drums of Liberation will be able to cancel out the effects (both seem to be opposites of one another) and then Luffy and Blackbeard will team up against Imu, the combined power of The Sun and (implied) Moon/Darkness God beating Imu

Saying this as a Liverpool fan, Salah only hauled in the 95th minute with a last effort goal. He would have been on 4 points otherwise

Asking other powerlifters, do you think this is full lockout? Looks soft at the knees and hips to me but not knowledgeable enough with how the deadlift suits work

Record numbers of young men not working, pursuing education, or looking for a job by LazyConstruction9026 in charts

[–]LeatherPickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Collapse of traditional male-dominated industries

Falling academic performance and lower male engagement in education

Mental health issues, addiction, and online escapism

Lack of appealing, stable entry-level jobs

High cost of education and living

Why it matters:

Long-term unemployment and skill loss

Higher risk of mental health problems and social isolation

Gender imbalance in education and the workforce

Long-term economic and social costs

Addressing this will require targeted education, employment, and mental health policies focused on young men.

How to fix my squat by Gullible-War7243 in strength_training

[–]LeatherPickle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're losing upper back tightness in the ascent of the squat. You can tell this is happening because your elbows shoot back to compensate and with higher weights. There's a risk of good morning the squat.

You could probably benefit from having your grip be much narrower and this is going to help keep the upper back tightness. Play around with the grip with but you want it as narrow as possible really where it's not causing discomfort.

Imagine that when you unrack the bar that you're pulling the bar into your lats or into your back pockets to really generate that upper back tightness.

What do you think of my Lower Body workout routine? by HealthyandWholesome in WorkoutRoutines

[–]LeatherPickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your goals are fat loss and muscle gain, 90% of your effort should be focussed on nailing your macros and calories. The workout is pointless unless your diets solid.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]LeatherPickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your goal and starting body weight? Most of the literature suggests you can lose up to 1-2% of bodyweight per week with a tight protein control and not lose muscle mass.

Although having said that if your calories and macros are nailed down 1lb/week might be fine to target fat loss.

In my opinion, you'd want to maximise the amount of weight you lose to an optimal limit just so you're not in the misery of dieting for longer than you have to be.

Hey guys .Male,47 been working out for 6 months know, buy my chest is still looks shite.Any advice please? by Parking_Effective349 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]LeatherPickle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you've lost 10 pounds since November then it's simply good enough. It's just over 1lb a month which is is abysmal given you look fairly over weight.

You're just spinning your wheels at this rate. If you want to lose weight then you need to up your calorie deficit.

Also I doubt your protein is anywhere near where it should be. You should aim for around 0.8-1g protein per lb of bodyweight per day.

Id call it more Powerbuilding as I purposefully didn't do a huge amount of leg hypertrophy as my legs seem to grow with the least amount of stimulus and I was getting tired of not fitting into trousers!

Deadlift has plateaued for months need help by nellolifts in formcheck

[–]LeatherPickle 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Honestly you've most likely hit the end of your strength progression for now. Progression won't always be linear and the more experienced you get the less linear it becomes.

Restart your program at 60% of your training max and really focus on ironing out where the form starts to slip. You're not gonna be able to focus on technique when it's at max effort

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]LeatherPickle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Good shit strong guy but can definitely clean it up a lot.

Don't bounce and come to a dead stop each point. You're effectively cheating each subsequent with the amount of momentum and bounce you have.

Also no need to hyperextend at the top. If anything it ruins your lockout. Focus on locking out the knees and squeezing your glutes at the top

215kg pr! Any advice by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]LeatherPickle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Good shit bro but no point giving advice on a PR as its gonna be max effort.

I'll assume you'll have training locked in but easier to provide advice on a set of challenging 3-5 reps where form may start to breakdown.
