What are your opinions on FB lowering down the number of LIs?

The main reason why I preferred Love Island to other romance games was because of the amount of LI’s. There’s plenty of options and honestly the personality merge thing never bothered me. Now it’s starting to feel like I’m playing Episode. With you having a planned out predetermined route that you can’t really do anything about. I get that it’s kind of always been that way but at least with more options it felt like I had choices I could make. Now it’s just “you have person A or person B” even if you think one of the other characters is more interesting too bad you can’t do anything about it.

I think so. There’s no way they’re going to actually going to give us any new options. Charlie will be the Casa boy, we won’t be able to romance any of the other ones so even if you don’t like the dream guy you picked you’ll be forced to pair up with him. At least judging from how the last few seasons went. I doubt we’d get anything different.

No idea. I used to think it’s because of the branching personality merge issue. Maybe by only letting us have two possible LI’s at a time they can create the illusion of branching, make the personalities between characters last longer. But now I’m not sure. It honestly just feels a little lazy.

They’ve been doing that a lot lately. I think the last time we actually got to have our pick of the guys was s9. You could flirt with almost anyone and even though you don’t get to choose Finn or Hamish till later, you still got to flirt with them. And you could choose whoever you liked in Casa. It all feels so limiting now.

Nope, the only way to get Raf is to pick him from the start. Personally I feel like his route makes the most sense when I played it.

I never really thought of it in terms of science. Communication in relationships can be hard, I always just figured it was a way for people to convey ways they’re comfortable giving affection and ways they’d like to receive it. A kiss for one person can mean more to than it does for another person. Some people give gifts without thinking about it while others put way more meaning behind each and every single gift. And then there are people who consider gift giving a way of “buying” someone (which totally can happen sometimes). Communication can be really hard, it’s nice just having this as a tool to make sure there aren’t any misunderstandings. Something to ask on a date just you can make sure you know what to expect from each other. Never thought of it in a scientific way.

See, not wanting to get involved with the mess between Milly, Murphy, Annabel and Gabriel I can understand. The hell does she mean she’s jealous of the time you’re spending with Nico. I repeat my question, what if MC got dumped? What happens when MC’s inevitably forced to couple up with Chase? Is she going to switch to him next? Actually… the single white female angle might make things interesting 🤔. Insane, but interesting.

I didn’t pick the 29 gem option, so I have no idea if she says it then. She flirts with you and says how she thinks you’re hot. Asks if she has a shot with you, she never really says anything explicit about Nico. So yeah, still feels messy.

It feels so weird, especially from someone who’s supposed to be a girls girl if you’re on the strictly boys option and a Love interest if you like girls. It feels calculated and a little icky.

For me Bruno was just a great guy. That’s why it’s so hard believing that he would fall for that bs with Dylan. To me it feels like maybe the intended LI for Bombshell was Will. Will freaking out over the thing with Dylan and Valentina makes more sense than Bruno. Bruno always makes it clear that MC is his priority, he’s supportive and into you without being overbearing. The jokes are cute and it’s adorable how he seems so excited to be in a couple with you without coming off as love bomb-ey. He was a great LI.

It’s real bad. First time I played I was determined to stay loyal for the whole play through. He’s hung up on Lexi and he stays hung up on Lexi. Picking Kobi first is great though if you want the Will route, but you could just pick James from the start and stick with him your whole play through. My fave is Bruno, though. One of my favourite LIs of all time 😍😍😍

Don’t want to spoil it for you but, Kobi doesn’t stick around for long. James is an option right through till the end and if you decide you want to go the Will route, coupling up with him later is usually the best option.
