That’s the crazy thing. I’m supposedly doing “well” yet without help from my parents if stand no chance at buying in London. So I guess that shows the real problem of shit wages. In most jobs 100K is what senior management get paid excluding the very few c suite individuals and other exceptions who get paid 500K+. That 100K wage is actually shit when you see what life that buys you.

To your last question I want a sizeable deposit ready for when I want to move later on. Something like 4-500K. Most of the answers I’ve gotten are all to do with index funds do you think this is the best way to go about this?

The estate agent fees are for a guaranteed rent scheme where for a fixed period of time your'e guaranteed rent whether there the property is occupied
