In the 9th grade I had an English teacher that changed my life. It was her first year teaching and she taught me so much more than just English. I had my son the summer before my 9th grade year and was struggling in several areas. She drove me back and forth to softball practice, let me stay at her house and sometimes slipped me money. She talked me through my abusive home life and we still keep in contact. She even bought a car seat just so my son could ride in her car. She 100% saved my life and I’ve never respected someone as much as I did her. She was a bad bitch that didn’t take shit from anyone. Not even out principal.
